Brendan started his comedy career in Chicago, training in improvisation and sketch comedy at Second City, iO Chicago, ComedySportz, and The Annoyance theaters as well as writing and producing original sketch shows.

Brendan continued doing comedy in Japan with Stand-Up Tokyo and headlined at the Tokyo Comedy Bar.
